Expansion Option for 192 I/O

way of an expansion bay, 192 I/O allows you to
increase I/O options with one of three available
expansion cards - 192 AD, 192 DA or 192 Digital.
Whether you want more analog inputs, outputs or
digital I/O, 192 I/O is flexible enough to be
custom tailored to suit your needs.
The 192 Digital card complements 192 I/O's stock
configuration with eight more channels of AES/EBU,
TDIF and ADAT I/O connections ? all of which can
utilize the real-time sample-rate converter chips
for streaming digital signals with any sample
rate into your Pro Tools session. Simply install
the 192 Digital card in 192 I/O's easy-access
back panel expansion bay, and you're ready to
go.

PCI-based
HD Process cards complement the HD Core foundation
of the Pro Tools|HD system. Increased sample rates
? 88.2 and 96 kHz, and 176.4 and 192 kHz in conjunction
with a 192 I/O-equipped system - work with increased
track and voice counts to give you unprecedented
mixing power. Extremely large mixing configurations
are supported by the new TDM II architecture,
eliminating surround mixing obstacles and bringing
greater mixer efficiency to your Pro Tools environment.
HD Process also improves interaction with both
Digidesign HDpack and Developer Partner Plug-Ins,
allowing your workflow to move as rapidly as you
do.
The
Digidesign® Expansion|HD expansion chassis is a
4U rack with six available PCI slots that offers
an easy and efficient way to expand the power of
a Pro Tools|HD® system. The Digidesign Expansion|HD
chassis connects to the host computer via a Host
PCI card or Host PCI Express (PCIe) card, each sold
separately. The chassis includes a thin and flexible
five-meter cable, but it can accommodate up to a
ten-meter cable, allowing you to place the chassis
away from the CPU or main mixing area, in a machine
room, for example.
