Euphonix,
Inc. today announced an order for a System 5 digital
console from Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall in
Taipei, Taiwan. The world-renown concert hall
is the largest indoor auditorium on the island
and is host to many of Taiwan's most important
events.
Russell Waite, Director International Sales for
Euphonix, said, "I believe the decision to
commit to Euphonix was due to the System 5's ease
of use, reliability and surround sound capabilities.
The Memorial hall is a very prestigious theater
with very important productions, so their baseline
was the absolute highest quality sound. That's
what the System 5 delivers."
Waite spoke about the complex mixing specifications
for the concert hall, "the engineer's requirements
for the live front of house surround mixing were
very specific. After demonstrating the flexibility
of the system and the visual feedback the System
5 offers, they were convinced Euphonix was the
way to go."
The System 5 is a digital audio mixing system
comprising a control surface, digital mixer core,
digital and analog interfaces, and system management
software. It is designed for the highest sound
quality with full support for 24-bit 96kHz I/O.
Ultra high-quality EQ and Dynamics processors
on every channel rival analog comparisons. And
the control surface of the System 5 is laid out
so that mix engineers will immediately feel comfortable
and familiar with it, making it easier to learn
and use. Through its unique core processing architecture
the System 5 is flexible and upgradeable, assuring
reliability and a sound investment today and in
the future.
