Euphonix System 5 Console Ordered for Prestigious Mormon Tabernacle
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has ordered a 4th System 5 digital audio console for install in the renowned performance and recording hall of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir
Palo Alto, CA June 4th, 2002

Among a growing acceptance of Euphonix digital audio consoles in live performance spaces, such as the recent installs for the Sydney Opera House and Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall in Taipei, Taiwan, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has ordered a Euphonix System 5 console for the Mormon Tabernacle in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Mormon Tabernacle is the renowned performance and recording hall of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.

Rich Nevens, Executive VP of Sales for the Americas commented, "The System 5 is an excellent choice for live mixing due to the comprehensive feedback on console settings it provides to the engineer. EQ curves, dynamics processing and pan position can be quickly displayed in the meter bridge on every channel. And when working in a dark environment our LED displays in the top of the knob allow the mixer to easily see his settings from the mix position. The System 5 has excelled in broadcast with many installations around the world. Now we're seeing the live application adopt our console as well." Nevens concluded, "We are very pleased to have such a strong relationship with the Church. They continue to look to us to help solve their varying audio needs."

This is the 4th Euphonix System 5 console ordered by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They have previously purchased three other System 5 consoles for use in their extensive post production studios located in Utah.
