Tannoy’s exclusive point source Dual Concentric™ driver technology provides wide dispersion characteristics and therefore excellent coverage of the listening area. Inclusion of a WideBand™ high frequency unit in the Dual ensures that this drive unit delivers an exceptionally detailed and open sound stage for unrivalled intelligibility. Extending the bandwidth gives percussive sounds more reality and impact, with vocals and instruments clearly more separate and distinct.

The single driver satellite has a 130mm (5”) driver integrally moulded into the baffle of the organically styled enclosure, while the twin driver satellite option has been equipped with a supplementary bass driver to augment power handling for installations where higher sound pressure levels are required.

The rigid enclosure of both models, robustly constructed in cast aluminium, provides excellent acoustic properties for enhanced performance. Available in high gloss black, white, silver and bronze paint finishes, both models are magnetically shielded to eliminate colour-fringing effects when placed close to a TV monitor.

Versatile mounting platforms enable a variety of room integration solutions. Table stands for both of the satellite speaker options are fitted with a swivel mechanism allowing precise adjustment. The same stands are also equipped with a wall mounting plate and a carefully designed cable management system. An elegant floor stand option is also available.

Multiple satellites of either type can be configured in various ways when partnered with other Tannoy subwoofers, such as the VS10 BP, and a Tannoy TDX1 digital system controller.
